To help you know what to expect, we've compiled the most important information about your apprenticeship here:
- The training program follows a structured rotation schedule in accordance with IHK guidelines.
- The trainers in charge are highly qualified and have many years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- A mentor, the “trainee mentor,” serves as the point of contact for the trainees at the hotel.
- Constructive evaluation and orientation meetings with the trainees are held regularly.
- There is close collaboration between the training company and vocational schools.
- Practical training sessions are held regularly.
- The trainees receive intensive preparation for the exams.
- Their progress reports are reviewed on a regular basis.
- Apprentice meetings are held to facilitate dialogue with hotel management.
- Targeted career planning is offered at the end of the training program.
